This double side pewter horse necklace celebrates Celtic Astrology. Celts borne between June 13th and July 9th were known as Duir, or people of the Oak. The symbol for the Duir was the horse. This round medallion features a horse head on the front with the word 'Duir' and a Celtic knot design on the back. The Celts believed that people of the Duir were solidly connected to the earth and that their strength provided support to those around them. The pendant measures approximately 1" in diameter and comes strung on a black neck cord that can be adjusted and knotted to the length you prefer. Mounted on recycled card with a brief description of the Duir.
