Most of the sound files we recorded using a Sharp 720 mini
disc recorder using custom made microphones using Panasonic microphone
capsules.
A few recordings were from the PCM sound track of film recorded
on a Sony Tr-101 stereo 8mm camcorder.
The recordings were then copied as 44100k sample rate, 16 bit
resolution files, using Syntrillium Software Corporations Shareware
version of Cool Edit.
To aid faster download rates these files were then converted
to 22050k sample rate, 16 bit resolution files.
You need a really good ear to tell the difference between
these 44100k and 22050k sample rates.
